About Ledodih
Last updated September 2026
Ledodih started, like a lot of small sites do, as a shared document between two people who kept sending each other the same kind of thing: "here's how I finally cancelled that," "here's the trick for the insurance letter," "here's the meal-plan approach that actually stuck." At some point it made sense to write those up properly and put them somewhere other people could find them.
The site is run by Dana Whitlock and Marcus Bell, who between them have spent an unreasonable amount of time on hold with subscription services. Dana used to work in an admin-heavy office job and has strong opinions about how documents should be laid out. Marcus is the one who tests things on his own family first and reports back on what fell apart. We're based in Franklin County, Ohio, which has no bearing on anything except the weather references.
What we write about
The small, unglamorous parts of running a home and a week. Paperwork. Planning. The pile of things you keep meaning to deal with. And, increasingly, the newer tools people are using for those jobs, because a lot of our readers have asked "is this actually useful for normal stuff, or is it just hype?" and the honest answer is "some of it, for some things, if you know the limits."
We try to write the way we'd explain something to a neighbor over a fence. Plain words. Actual examples. No "life hacks." If something is boring but works, we'll tell you it's boring and that it works.
What we don't do
We don't make promises. Nothing on this site will change your life, make you rich, or fix a problem that needs a professional. We're not lawyers, doctors, or financial advisors, and when a question needs one of those, we say so.
We also don't pretend the tools we write about are magic. AI assistants are confidently wrong on a regular basis, and we'd rather you know that on day one than find out from an insurance letter on day forty.
How the site is paid for
Some articles link to products, services, or training sold by other companies. If you buy something through one of those links, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra, it doesn't change our opinion of the thing, and we'll always tell you when a page contains that kind of link. The longer version, including the part about income never being guaranteed, is on our disclosure page.
